There are numerous spots around the surrounding areas where you can get a great view of the Wigan Skyline including all the buildings that make the town what it is.
This first shot looks down on the Stadium with the town in the distance and the last rumblings of the Pennine hills on the horizon.

Looking out over Haigh Country Park, you can see the Parish Church and other recognisable buildings in the town with Billinge Hill on the horizon.

Take a trip up to Roby Mill and you can see out over the vast green fields towards the Heinz Factory in Kitt Green and the warehouses of Martland Park to the left of it.

Before the Galleries were demolished, you could get a great view of the town as it stretched out to Scholes, Ince and beyond.
